AJP Custom Parts is proud to be Sponsoring a team in the 2019 British Field Target Association Grand Prix Series.
Meet the Team Members L-R
Andrew ‘Gilly’ Gillott
A living legend on the Field Target circuit, ‘Gilly’ has a plethora of FT titles to his name. Including 2012 FT World Champion, 2017 BFTA European Champion, 2009 BFTA Grand Prix Champion, 6 time winner of the MFTA Winter League Series and many other titles and accolades.
A respected servant within the Midlands Field Target Association for many years, Andrew has vast amounts of experience and has been the lead for the BFTA European Championship Course build since 2018.
Outside of FT, Andrew is a self employed Kitchen & Bathroom Fitter and professional Barnsley Bitter drinker.
As a devout Derby County fan, he’s an endless source of amusement within the AJP Team.
Mark ‘Wrecker’ Henson
A popular figure within FT, Wrecker is a hallowed member of the ’50 Club’ after clearing the East Devon Grand Prix course in 2018. This was a great year as he also claimed the 2018 BFTA Championship and the Welsh Open titles. Mark has represented England a number of times and has the Honour of being Team Captain this year at the FT Worlds in August.
Wrecker is the techno geek of the group and his videos of shoots are widely anticipated within the community. As a Nottingham Forest fan, his main enjoyment is goading Gilly at every opportunity.
Away from FT he works for a printing firm and represents the workforce as the Trade Union rep, it is expected all grievances within the team will be handled through his mediation.
Dan ‘The Man’ Eley
With nearly 30 years FT experience under his belt, Dan is a former World Field Target Champion, having lifted the trophy in Germany in 2004.
His roll-call of FT victories also includes wins in the BFTA Showdown & Masters comps, numerous GPs and a NEFTA classic.
Away from FT Dan runs his own recruitment business, owner of the finest Beard in FT, a father of two girls and most stressful of all, is a life-long Spurs fan!
Paul ‘Mangers’ Mangham
Paul has the unenviable job of Team Captain and compares this role to ‘herding cats’. The newest to Field Target with just over 4 years in the sport he surprised everyone, even more so than himself to win the 2019 MFTA Masters Championship crown and has vowed to keep reminding everyone, whether interested or not, of this fact for the next 5 years.
Paul served as MFTA Secretary for 2 years and found this to be rewarding but incredibly stressful. He is now in therapy and the MFTA Grading Officer and Stats guru.
When not Shooting FT, Paul claims to be a Freight Train Driver, however, no one can remember him ever actually working.
